Established in 2004 and located in Shoreditch, TLO is the flagship store of the creative duo The Lazy Ones, formed by fashion graduate Nat Colom and her partner Diego. They launched their label 3 years prior to the TLO store opening and, with determination and talent, they achieved their goals in the fashion business. TLO comprises 2 floors showcasing over 300 designs from its on-going collections, a selection of accessories and jewellery brands and the occasional 90s shoe find, that complements the brand perfectly.
Starting from the bottom, their label went quickly from a few one-off pieces to sign contracts with some of the biggest international retail companies such as Topshop, PixieMarket, ABAHOUSE and most recently, Itochu, where it is distributed on over 40 stores across Japan. Also, the label is available at various independent stores woldwide and online at www.thelazyones.com. Always making a priority to kept it's manufacturing local, at the moment produces over 3000 garments yearly in the U.K.
It's Atelier Fast Fashion; TLO mixes in their ongoing collections a hard but romantic philosophy, garments that are unthreatening yet interesting. That idea truly comes to life in their knitwear collections. Simple lines but with an extreme attention to detail that really captures the duo's east london life.
TLO is about something universal, femininity and something concrete, city-life, which has already attracted the likes of Beyonce, Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Keira Knightley, Peaches Geldof, Kelly Osbourne or Felicity Jones among others.
Its previous collections have already been featured in Dazed and Confused, I-D, W magazine, SelfService, Elle Italia or Vogue Spain and its heavily present in the blogosphere.
